Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola
In a quaint Italian village, an elderly woman known for her magical abilities, particularly her enchanted pasta pot, hires a young man named Big Anthony to help with chores. Despite being warned not to touch the pot, Big Anthony's curiosity gets the better of him, leading to a comical disaster when he attempts to use the pot himself. The village is soon overwhelmed with an endless supply of pasta, and chaos ensues. Ultimately, the wise woman returns just in time to save the day, teaching Big Anthony a valuable lesson about listening and responsibility.
