In a kingdom long ago, a beautiful princess is cursed by a malevolent fairy to fall into a deep slumber on her sixteenth birthday, only to be awakened by the kiss of true love. Despite the efforts of her loving parents and the protection of good fairies, the curse comes to pass, plunging the entire kingdom into a century-long sleep. Eventually, a brave prince discovers the enchanted castle, and with a tender kiss, he breaks the spell, awakening the princess and the kingdom, leading to a joyous celebration and the promise of a happily ever after.
