Parmenides
Parmenides of Elea was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher from the colony of Elea in Magna Graecia. He is known for his single work, a poem called 'On Nature,' which has survived only in fragments. Parmenides is considered one of the founders of metaphysics and is best known for his doctrine that reality is unchanging and that change is an illusion.

1. Parmenides Of Elea
In this philosophical treatise, the narrative unfolds through a poetic dialogue that explores the nature of reality and being. The protagonist embarks on a metaphysical journey, guided by a divine chariot, to uncover the truth about existence. The text is divided into two parts: the "Way of Truth," which asserts that reality is unchanging and indivisible, and the "Way of Opinion," which critiques the deceptive nature of sensory perception and human beliefs. Through a series of logical arguments, the work challenges readers to reconsider their understanding of the universe, emphasizing the distinction between what is real and what is merely perceived.
