Leila Schneps

French mathematician and author, known for work in number theory and Galois theory and for writing accessible mathematics books. She has worked as a researcher at the French CNRS and is coauthor (with Coralie Colmez) of Math on Trial, which examines the use of mathematics in the courtroom.
