Logic by Martin Heidegger

The Question of Truth

A phenomenological rethinking of “logic,” this work asks what makes truth, assertion, and judgment possible in the first place. It moves beyond formal inference to ground logical phenomena in human existence and world-disclosure, treating propositions as modes of uncovering rather than mere correspondence. Through analyses of logos, language, and the as-structure of interpretation, it shows how assertion arises from a more primordial understanding, clarifies how error and negation occur, and critiques traditional logical theory in favor of an originary account of truth rooted in being-in-the-world.
