Simple Church by Thom S. Rainer

Returning to God's Process for Making Disciples

This book argues that many congregations are bogged down by complexity and ineffective programs, and advocates simplifying church structure and programming to focus intentionally on a few essential processes that make disciples. It recommends clarifying mission, eliminating nonessential activities, and prioritizing core practices—such as authentic worship, community through small groups, intentional discipleship pathways, and outward-focused outreach—so churches can more effectively shepherd spiritual growth and reach their communities.
