Oms By The Dozen by Stefan Wul

On a distant world dominated by giant, blue-skinned aliens who keep humans — derisively called Oms — as pets and pests, one human raised as a companion to an alien girl escapes to the feral settlements and becomes a catalyst for change; he teaches other Oms to use their oppressors’ technology, organize collectively, and challenge centuries of condescension and control, in a bleak but adventurous allegory about domination, resistance, and the struggle for dignity.
