Men, Women, And Worthiness by Brené Brown

This work examines how cultural expectations and shame shape men’s and women’s sense of worthiness and capacity for connection, arguing that many people hide behind perfectionism, armor, or disengagement to avoid feeling unworthy; combining research-based insights with practical guidance, it encourages embracing vulnerability, practicing empathy and courage, and letting go of the belief that worthiness must be earned in order to build more honest, resilient relationships and live more wholehearted lives.
