The Little Sisters Of Eluria by Stephen King

In this novella, a gunslinger named Roland Deschain finds himself in a desolate town called Eluria, where he is ambushed and severely injured by mutant creatures. He is rescued by a mysterious group of nuns known as the Little Sisters, who possess dark, supernatural powers and sinister intentions. As Roland recuperates, he discovers the nuns' true nature and their connection to the malevolent forces he has been pursuing.
