The Little Sisters Of Eluria by Stephen King
In this novella, a gunslinger named Roland Deschain finds himself in a desolate town called Eluria, where he is ambushed and severely injured by mutant creatures. He is rescued by a mysterious group of nuns known as the Little Sisters, who possess dark, supernatural powers and sinister intentions.
